Privacy Policy

This app collects nothing about you. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. That is not a policy we are choosing to follow; it is what the software does.

What we collect

Nothing about you. The app has no server of its own, and it makes no network requests while you play. It does not read your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos or files.

That is enforced rather than promised: the app is built without the Android internet permission, so it has no way to send anything anywhere even if a later version wanted to. The one thing that involves anyone else at all is a purchase, and that is Google's transaction rather than ours — see Purchases below.

What is stored, and where

Your record — games played, wins and losses by difficulty, best run, and which achievements you have earned — is saved on your own device, in your browser's or the app's local storage, under the key abm.v1. It never leaves your device. We cannot see it, and neither can anyone else.

Two things follow from that, and both are worth knowing:

You can erase it at any time yourself, from Your record → Clear my record in the app, or by clearing the app's data in your device settings.

Permissions

The Android app asks for one permission: billing (com.android.vending.BILLING). It is what lets the app talk to the Google Play Store app on your device, to sell the subscription and to check whether one is active. Your device grants it at install with no prompt, and it gives the app no access to your files, accounts, location or anything else.

There is no internet permission. The game is served from inside the app itself, and the only thing that needs a network — the payment — is carried out by the Play Store app, under Google's permissions rather than this app's. In a browser, no permissions are requested at all.

Sound and haptics are generated by the device itself and require no permission.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal data at all, it collects none from children. The subscription is a purchase and needs an adult's payment method, as any purchase on Google Play does.

Purchases

Playing is free: the app allows up to three games in any 24-hour period, and the guided first-play tutorial, a rematch that keeps the running score and restarting the match you are in do not count against that. One subscription — unlimited games — removes the limit. It is sold as a monthly or a yearly plan and renews automatically until you cancel it. There is no one-off or lifetime purchase.

Payment is handled entirely by Google Play. Google processes the payment and tells the app only whether an active subscription exists — we never receive your name, card details or address, and the app never sees them either. Google's handling of the transaction is covered by Google's own privacy policy. The price shown in the app is the one Google charges in your country.

You can cancel at any time from the subscriptions screen in the Play Store app. Cancelling stops the next payment; when the period you have paid for ends, the app returns to the three-games-a-day limit. Refunds are handled by Google, under Google Play's refund policy.

Each time the app starts, and whenever you tap Restore a purchase, it asks Google Play whether a subscription is active. That question goes through the Play Store app and carries nothing about you beyond what Google already holds for your Play account. The answer is what the app trusts: it treats a subscription as active only when Google Play says so, and the copy saved on the device is only ever a cache that the next answer overwrites.

Changes

If a future version ever collects anything, this page will say so plainly before that version ships, and the app will not be updated to collect data it does not disclose here.
